At Mt. Pleasant psychiatry there is a passion to deliver tailored psychiatric care. With this vision we have developed three key practice policies:
1. A pre-initial appointment evaluation. This is to ensure we have a good understanding of the problem and have the clinical expertise or scope of practice to best serve you. If there is a problem beyond our skills then a proper referral to an alternate physician will be provided.
2. Twenty four hour coverage in case of emergency. If there is a problem you will be speaking with us, your physician, not an answering service.
3. Urgent appointments for crisis situations. Patients will be seen within 24 to 48hrs should there be a crisis.
